Seventy-One Percent is the official name and tee of our water cleanup initiative, a nod to the fact that 71% of the earth’s surface is water (and 96.5% of that is held by oceans). Water is life, and we can’t survive without it. It’s up to each of us to do our part to keep our waters clean and healthy, by picking up trash, being mindful of what is dumped into sewers and drains (everything runs downhill), and preserving shorelines and habitats so our aquatic friends can thrive.
