The heart and soul of Barefoot Athletic Company is all about connections and giving back, and we strive to be a positive and supportive presence both locally, and beyond the boundaries of the Emerald City! One more time! Barefoot is honored to again share products for the celebrity gift bags at the EcoLuxe Lounge at Sundance 2016. Why do we love Durkin Entertainment’s EcoLuxe Lounge? Simply put, because of their commitment to a sustainable platform showcasing eco goods and services, and their heartfelt work with charity partners – in this case, Shriners Hospitals for Children/Los Angeles. They hope to promote awareness/support for their new $77 Million medical center launching in Pasadena in 2017, dedicated to making medical miracles possible for more than 1 million children and counting. We also appreciate and honor the indie spirit and the passion and creativity that defines Sundance!
Beginning September 2015, Barefoot Athletic Company is proud to sponsor a new program through the USTA Mid-Atlantic Section to grow the game of tennis by being direct providers of affordable programming for youth in areas where there is a need, but no current provider. We salute their efforts; every child deserves a chance!

As always, this sustainable event, which combines a heart for being socially conscious with a whole lot of glam, was a big success and we were honored to be a part of it!

Born from the ashes of domestic violence, Barefoot Athletic Company is a survivor story. Needless to say, we were especially excited and honored to have a presence at the 2014 Cycle the WAVE event in Bellevue, WA. Cycle the WAVE (Women Against Violence Everywhere), is a fully supported, non-competitive, all-women’s cycling event. It is a venue created for women of all ages and fitness levels to experience camaraderie, increase awareness of domestic violence through visibility and to raise funds for domestic violence programs across Washington State. The Daytime Emmy® Awards has been honoring excellence in all fields of daytime broadcast production for thirty-eight years and pays tribute to the exceptional work of daytime broadcasting’s elite. We were so honored to meet the nominees and be able to share our products with them!

Barefoot was excited to provide sport towels for the team, and caps for the coaches of Rat Pak, Florida’s elite 7-on-7 football team coached by former SEC Defensive Player of the Year and University of Florida Hall of Fame Gator Great Keiwan Ratliff. Their talent, hard-work, and determination is creating exciting athletic opportunities for their futures!
